Tatelo Bricks is a brick manufacturing company based in Ermelo, Mpumalanga, and this project started through a personal connection with the owner, who is also my neighbour. After completing my internship in full-stack web design and development, I mentioned my design capabilities to him, and he gave me an opportunity to demonstrate my work. That initial trust became the foundation of an ongoing working relationship that has continued to grow steadily since December 2025.
The first set of work involved creating multiple flyer designs for the business around December 11, 2025. These weren’t generic templates — each flyer was developed with different visual styles to give the business flexibility in how they present themselves to customers. We also made sure to incorporate custom input from the owner whenever he wanted specific changes, ensuring the final designs aligned with the real operational needs of the company rather than just aesthetic preferences.
As the relationship developed, Tatelo Bricks continued returning for additional design work due to the consistency, speed, and affordability of the service. One of the key follow-up projects included designing their weekly operational schedule, structured in a clear Monday-to-Friday format (08:00–16:00), making it easier for staff and customers to understand their working hours. This shifted the work beyond simple marketing materials into more functional business communication tools.
We also enhanced their visual identity by incorporating their own high-quality images into the designs, ensuring authenticity and brand realism rather than relying on stock visuals. Over time, this collaboration has become an ongoing creative partnership, and Tatelo Bricks remains one of the most consistent supporters of the business. The experience has been highly valuable, not only in building their brand presence but also in strengthening long-term client relationships built on trust and reliable delivery.
